Major Tasks and Duties:

• Innovative R&D Projects: Lead and complete exciting R&D projects, collaborating with the R&D Applications and Technical Team Lead to bring new ideas to life.
• Customer Collaboration: Work with Business Teams to create and present innovative concepts products to customers.
• Tradeshow and Event Prototypes: Develop and coordinate prototype shipments for tradeshows and industry events. Travel to these events to showcase our latest innovations.
• Technical Support: Provide expert problem-solving support to both external and internal customers, ensuring the highest quality service.
• New Product Commercialization: Play a crucial role in bringing new products to market, from initial concept to final product.
• Product Specifications: Prepare detailed preliminary product specifications for our innovative new products.
• Product Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance existing products based on customer feedback, improving nutritional value, color, flavor, texture, and cost-efficiency.
• Marketing Activities: Contribute to marketing efforts by generating new ideas, creating concept literature, and researching market trends.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with production, marketing, and QA/QC teams to monitor and improve new product performance, resolve quality issues, and make ingredient recommendations.
• Customer Samples: Prepare and deliver high-quality samples to customers as needed.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on market trends, new ingredients, and relevant training to keep our business at the forefront of the industry.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations, GMPs, and HACCP requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Educational Background: B.Sc. in Food Science or equivalent is highly valued.
• Culinary Expertise: Strong competence in bakery and savory applications.
• Industry Experience: 2-4 years of product development experience in the food industry.
• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Presentation Skills: Strong ability to present ideas and products effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
