Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Pay Rate: $14.18/hr (Max)
Contract Type: Non-SCA Contract (No end date) Position Overview Are you looking for a reliable, early-morning schedule with no weekend work? We are seeking a friendly and dependable Food Service Worker to join our cafeteria team as a Hot Line Server. In this role, you will be the face of our food service, providing excellent customer service while assisting with various kitchen duties.
No technology experience is required! We are looking for someone with a great attitude who is ready to jump in and support our team. Key Responsibilities

  • 50% Food Preparation & Service: Prepare food using approved procedures, operate serving equipment, and serve meals on the hot line while minimizing waste.
  • 30% Inventory & Restocking: Restock food supplies, ensuring all items and containers are properly rotated and labeled.
  • 10% Sanitation: Perform routine cleaning tasks and sanitize equipment to maintain a safe, slip-free environment.
  • 10% Equipment Oversight: Monitor kitchen equipment and promptly report any malfunctions to management.
Depending on daily needs, you may also assist as a cashier, prep cook, dishwasher/pot washer, or help with catering deliveries. Required Skills & Abilities
  • Customer Service Excellence: A friendly demeanor and a "customer-first" mindset are a must!
  • Versatility: Ability to perform various tasks across different food service areas as needed.
  • Strong Communication: Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic Math: Proficiency in basic business math (for tasks like cashiering).
  • Reliability: Good organizational and judgment skills to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
