Description

Job Title: Production Associate (Material Handler)
The targeted pay range for the position/max budget for pay? The pay rate is $17.35 per hour plus $1.50 per hour shift differential ($18.85 total)
3rd shift is 9PM to 7 AM Monday to Thursday (work week ends 7 AM Friday).
Location: York, PA Plant
Reports to: Production Supervisor
 
Summary
Supports production, maintenance, and other aspects of the business by safely moving material in
response to customer demand.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate lift truck to move/stack material in and between departments throughout the plant.
• Safely load and unload trucks/containers.
• Weigh and/or count material.
• Receive, store, record, and deliver incoming materials to proper location, then perform
confirmations or transactions, as required.
• Resolve questions as to product identification, stock number, quantities, etc.
• Verify routers for proper sign-off and check electronic system for stores locations and other data.
• Perform cycle counts, as necessary.
• Issue materials from, and return them to, location based on appropriate paperwork.
• Segregate and dispose of scrap, chip hoppers and trash waste, as required.
• May use barcode scanner to report labor.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product/service, including
reporting non-conforming materials.
• Report unusual conditions or questionable items to supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Maintain records as required.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Skill Requirements
 
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Valid forklift license.
• Basic comprehensive of Microsoft Office, including the ability to enter data into Excel.
• Able to work overtime hours (more than 40 hours per week and Saturdays) as required.
• Stand and walk continuously for 8 hours, if necessary.
• Climb stairs and ladders.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
