Join our dynamic operations team as a Forklift Operator where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our facility. Your expertise in operating a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, will contribute to our commitment to deliver high-quality products and services. Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility and grounds.
• Carefully pull specific bottle and can equipment to fulfill production requests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Secure outbound loads applying protective wrapping as necessary and attaching appropriate documentation to maintain safety and compliance.
• Load and unload trailers as required, maintaining accuracy, and accountability for all inbound and outbound loads through SOP compliance and handheld devices.
• Actively participate in safety and housekeeping activities by conducting pre-and post-operation equipment checks, maintaining neat and clutter-free work areas, and adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as directed, which may include staging equipment, assisting with junking equipment, and conducting yard maintenance.
• Manage opening and closing of truck dock doors and ensuring docks are secure.

 
 
Requirements

• Proven experience as a forklift operator with a solid understanding of various material handling equipment.
• Valid certification to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Excellent physical condition and coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy in all tasks.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and management.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and job priorities.
