What's a typical day as a General Fabricator You'll be:
• Operating various small machines such as PEM Insertion Machine, Spot Welder, Metal Roller, Drill Press/Tap/Countersink, and Belt Grinders
• Using hand and power tools to assemble products
• Utilizing pneumatic and electric grinders for deburring and weld blending
• Meeting and maintaining daily production rates and goals
• Reading and following standard work instructions
• Measuring work using rule, gauges, calipers, and templates
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and customer documentations
• Keeping supervisory staff informed of all activity, including quality and safety issues
• Completing all required activities and documentation for assigned work
• Adhering to safety procedures at all times
• Keeping the workstation clean, orderly, and free of safety hazards
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Have 2 years or more of hands-on manufacturing experience with metal fabrication or woodworking
• Are mechanically inclined, possess general shop math skills
• Are familiar with blueprints and technical drawings
