At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we're seeking a Golf Cart Mechanic to work for a premier golf cart manufacturer in Sodus, NY. With us, it's all about finding the job that's just right!
Day Shift: 8am to 5pm, Mon-Fri. Temp to Hire.
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00/hr. (Depending on experience).
Summary: The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to diagnose and repair golf carts. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, the ability to read technical drawings, and a background in automotive maintenance and/or small engine repair.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain gas and electric golf carts
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative repairs
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and battery-related issues
- Replace or repair brakes, steering, suspension, motors, engines, and electrical systems
- Test carts after repairs to ensure proper operation and safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
- Document repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed
