Kelly is hiring a Heat Treat Operators on behalf of a recognized worldwide leader in heat-treatment and material science services. Our client offers the chance to work on advanced industrial processes supporting automotive, energy, and engineering sectors.
Entry-Level $16.00 Per Hour to Start
Experienced Heat Treat Operators $18.00 - $19.00 Per Hour
1st Shift 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
2nd Shift 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
Rotating Shifts - Work 2 Days. Enjoy 3 Days Off. Every Week!
Responsibilities:
- Assist with or independently operate, control, and monitor heat treating equipment per written procedures.
- Prepare work for processing; load/unload furnaces, bins, fixtures, and baskets.
- Ensure all customer inventory is handled carefully and responsibly.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety protocols.
- Report any unusual problems or irregularities to supervisor.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous heat treatment experience preferred but NOT required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work overtime, any shift, including weekends
- Able to obtain and maintain forklift certification
- Proficient reading, writing, and communication skills in English
Physical & Mental Demands
- Ability to stand for extended periods in an industrial setting
- Bend, pull, stoop, reach, and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Tolerance for heat, noise, humidity, and typical industrial conditions
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Sufficient visual and auditory acuity for tasks
