Description

Kelly is hiring a Heat Treat Operators on behalf of a recognized worldwide leader in heat-treatment and material science services. Our client offers the chance to work on advanced industrial processes supporting automotive, energy, and engineering sectors.

Entry-Level $16.00 Per Hour to Start
Experienced Heat Treat Operators $18.00 - $19.00 Per Hour

1st Shift 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
2nd Shift 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
Rotating Shifts - Work 2 Days. Enjoy 3 Days Off. Every Week!

Responsibilities:

• Assist with or independently operate, control, and monitor heat treating equipment per written procedures.
• Prepare work for processing; load/unload furnaces, bins, fixtures, and baskets.
• Ensure all customer inventory is handled carefully and responsibly.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety protocols.
• Report any unusual problems or irregularities to supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous heat treatment experience preferred but NOT required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work overtime, any shift, including weekends
• Able to obtain and maintain forklift certification
• Proficient reading, writing, and communication skills in English

Physical & Mental Demands

• Ability to stand for extended periods in an industrial setting
• Bend, pull, stoop, reach, and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Tolerance for heat, noise, humidity, and typical industrial conditions
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Sufficient visual and auditory acuity for tasks
