Job Title: Assembly Worker - Heavy Assembly Technician
Location: Commerce, GA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Overtime when requested to include Saturdays)

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Heavy Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team in Commerce, GA. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in building high-quality mechanical assemblies, enjoys working with tools, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. What You'll Do:

  • Interpret Blueprints: Plan and execute mechanical assembly procedures using blueprints and specifications.
  • Component Installation: Position, align, and fasten components with bolts, screws, rivets, and clips.
  • Assembly Tasks: Install piping, wiring, and moving parts; verify functionality and smooth movement.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks and assist with product testing.
  • Packing: Pack and label completed units per customer requirements.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
What You Bring:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in mechanical or industrial assembly is a plus.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret basic instructions, diagrams, and safety guidelines.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on producing quality work.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Safety Requirements:
  • Protective Gear: Steel-toe boots and safety glasses are required on the production floor.
  • Safety Protocols: Must follow all safety protocols, including lifting techniques and hazard communication.
