Job Title: Stockroom Clerk
Department: Purchasing
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: First Shift | Core Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stockroom Clerk to join our Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing our inventory systems, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining organization within our stockroom. If you thrive in a structured environment, enjoy working with both people and numbers, and want to contribute to a smooth supply chain process. Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Maintain and reorder stock of supplies, equipment, and materials
• Log inventory using a computer system or database
• Keep stockroom organized and clean
• Verify received materials match orders (quantity, type, condition)
• Handle returns of defective or incorrect materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track items on order
• Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventory
• Assist with clerical and back-office tasks as needed
• Prepare work orders using Fishbowl inventory software

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Solid reading, writing, and comprehension abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic math skills: ability to work with whole numbers, decimals, fractions, and percentages
• Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret various instructions
• Comfortable lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Proficient in working both independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Hours:

• Pay: $25.00/hour
• Schedule: First shift
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Full-time hours)
