Our client is looking for a reliable and proactive HR & Benefits Administrator to join their team and play a key role in supporting employee benefits, disability administration, and HR operations. If you thrive in a structured environment and enjoy working with confidential information, this role is for you!
Please note: this is a current vacancy for a 5-6 month opportunity, with possibility of an extension.
What you'll do:
In this role, you'll be an essential support to the HR team, ensuring employees receive timely, accurate assistance while maintaining compliance and organization.
Benefits & Disability Administration
- Review, process, and file benefits-related paperwork
- Send disability paperwork to employees and complete employer portions as required
- Track and follow up on benefits enrollment and outstanding documentation
- Provide ongoing disability updates and communicate with leaders as needed
Employee Documentation & Compliance
- Create employment verification letters
- Track and follow up on work permits and related documentation
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
HR Operations Support
- Respond to general benefits and payroll inquiries received through the HR inbox
- Support job description migration projects
- File and organize HR paperwork within the secure file room (as capacity allows)
What We're Looking For
- Experience in HR administration, benefits, payroll support, or a related role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Excellent written communication and follow-up skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with HR systems, documentation, and shared inboxes
- A collaborative team player with a service-oriented mindset
- Must have a car and be willing to travel to other client locations

Pay rate
- A pay rate of $24-26/hr depending on experience
