Office Clerk/Customer Support needed in Houston

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED 
  • Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour based on experience
  • Work Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Required Skills:
•    Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
•    Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows
•    Great customer service skills

Job Responsibilities:
•    Must have previous experience in an office setting and/or customer service.
•    Must be able to multitask and maintain a positive attitude towards customers and co-workers.
•    Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office, Windows or other computer systems/procedures.
•    Write, type, or enter information into computer systems to prepare correspondence, bills, statements, receipts, or other documents.
•    Copy information from one record to another. Proofread records or forms, sort and file records.
•    Receive money from customers and prepare deposits to be sent to the bank. Handle checks, money orders, and credit card transactions.
•    Operate office machines such as typewriters, computers, terminals, and adding machines.
•    Issue statements to customers, address envelopes or packages by hand or typewriter.
•    Handle mail operations: stuff envelopes by hand or with a machine, stamp, sort, and distribute mail.
•    Photocopy documents using a photocopier.
•    Communicate with customers by phone or in person and process orders for installation, new service, discontinuance, or changes in service.
•    Verify that contracts for services are completed and determine charges for requested services.
•    Must be able to lift at least forty pounds and have a good driving record.
