Kelly is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our partner.

The primary focus of this role will be on performing incoming inspections, handling nonconforming materials, and conducting quality audits. The Quality Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Summerville, SC
Job Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $25-28
Shift: 1st Shift

Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming inspections on all required parts and materials
- Maintain the defective material control system
- Communicate with production lines to resolve quality issues
- Assist in the calibration control system
- Develop and perform quality audits for all production areas, ensuring compliance with procedures and processes
- Perform final inspection duties as required by workload and ship schedule
- Conduct emissions testing using the Symtech machine
- Operate the truck dynamometer

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in the use of the Faro Arm portable CMM
- Working knowledge of measuring and test equipment
- Experience with forklifts and forklift parts is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems, including Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills

Education:
- High school diploma
- Associates degree or a 2-year technical degree with an emphasis in quality is a plus
