Industrial Maintenance Electrician (2nd Shift)
Location: Carlisle, PA
Pay: $37.95/hour + $1.50/hour shift differential
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00PM-11:30PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician (Grade 4MA) to join our maintenance team at our Carlisle, PA manufacturing facility. This position focuses on maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting complex electrical and control systems that keep production running efficiently and safely.
This is a 2nd shift position offering excellent pay, full benefits, and long-term stability with opportunities for advancement in a highly technical environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including motors, PLCs, lighting, and HVAC systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.

Perform preventative maintenance and machine changeovers as required.

Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, maintenance manuals, and technical documents.

Complete documentation and enter maintenance data into the SAP CMMS system.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production efficiency and equipment reliability.

Strong understanding of AC/DC circuits (100V, 200V, 480V, and 2300V).

Proven experience with PLC troubleshooting/repair (programming is a plus) and the ability to connect and read machine outputs.

Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and digital control systems.

Competence in welding, soldering, and using various hand and power tools.

Ability to perform precise mathematical calculations and read detailed technical documentation.

Completion of an accredited 8,000-hour apprenticeship, technical school program, or related college degree in the electrical field.

Minimum of 4+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (not facility maintenance).

Flexibility to work across multiple shifts if required.

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks including climbing, crawling, and stooping.

Willingness to work in environments with varying temperatures, loud noise, chemicals, and confined spaces.

Work may involve movement across multiple plant locations and occasional outdoor exposure.
