Now Hiring: International Banking Account Representative (Temp to Hire)

Location: Central Pacific Plaza, 220 South King St., 15th Floor
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21.93 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Type: Temp to Hire
Parking: Not provided

Primary Accountabilities:
  • Perform operational tasks including account openings, handling various consumer/business deposit and loan products, managing applications for unsecured and secured loans/lines of credit, renewing CDs, issuing cashiers' checks, and preparing wire/loan transaction forms.
  • Interact and discuss products with customers in support of Mass Market sales; provide support to the International Banking Officer.
  • Provide customer service via phone/email, following Call Center standards, and handle periodic services for Japanese customers.
  • Assist Client Property Payment Service (CPPS) with bill payments and service contract initiation.
  • Manage/assist in administrative duties for the team.
  • Grow Mass Market portfolio through safe, profitable opportunities with existing and new clients; work to transition customers into HVC-compatible business.
  • Ensure daily operational efficiency and compliance with regulations/CPB policies; independently resolve client issues and interact with third party vendors.
  • Support team goals, portfolio management, and accountabilities; serve as backup for operational tasks within the Mass Market Team.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma required

Experience:

  • At least 1+ years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Japanese preferred; ability to read, write, and communicate in a business setting

Additional Requirements:

  • This position requires successful completion of a drug test and background check.
