Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 5:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m. 
(Training on 1st shift for 3–8 weeks)

About the Role 

The Inventory Clerk plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, processing product returns, and supporting warehouse operations. This position requires attention to detail, solid computer skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a refrigerated environment (around 40°F). 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Process products for reclamation using a Power App system 

  • Perform and document cycle counts to support company inventory requirements 

  • Run variance reports and research count discrepancies 

  • Audit warehouse aisles to verify product placement accuracy 

  • Transfer product codes and assist with product recalls as needed 

  • Conduct slot checks and maintain organized, accurate records 

  • Process product returns from drivers — verifying return codes, product conditions, and adherence to food safety standards 

  • Handle manual credit entry, product sorting, and code-date verification 

  • Determine if returned items can be restocked or must be written off 

  • Complete all return-to-stock batch files and refusal documentation before shift end 

  • Communicate with night operations and transportation departments primarily via email 

Qualifications & Skills 

Required: 

  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, with basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel 

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy 

  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (~40°F) 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills 

Preferred: 

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems 

  • Previous experience in inventory control or driver check-in preferred but not required 

Soft Skills 

  • Strong team player with a collaborative attitude 

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently 

  • Clear communication and accountability for assigned tasks 

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn 

Training & Schedule 

  • Training: Conducted on day shift (3–8 weeks) depending on learning pace 

  • Regular Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 5:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m.
