Description

be responsible for conducting regular and accurate counts of inventory items to ensure data integrity and support smooth warehouse operations. In this role you work closely with inventory, procurement and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels, identify discrepancies, and resolve inventory issues.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform scheduled cycle counts of inventory in accordance with established procedures.
  • Reconcile physical counts with inventory management system data and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Document count results and reasons for discrepancies, escalating significant variances as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Assist with the analysis of inventory accuracy and recommend improvements to processes.
  • Support annual physical inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with receiving and shipping teams to ensure accuracy in inventory transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in assigned counting areas.
  • Use inventory management technology (handheld scanners, warehouse management software) to record counts.
  • Prepare and submit accurate reports of counting activities to management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management software and data entry systems. (SAP, Excel, RF Scanner)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. 
  • Forklift operator experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged standing/walking for most of the shift
  • Bending, reaching, visual inspection
  • Safety shoes - composite/steel-toes toed shoes
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
