Kelly Services is seeking a qualified 1st shift Special Projects Support Specialist to work with a Fortune 50 Aerospace company in Midland, Georgia.  2 years of experience in a warehouse or production control environment, with a working knowledge of the computer program SAP required to apply. 

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

  • $15.00 per hour 
  • Weekly Pay!
 

Shift:

  • 1st shift - Monday thru Friday - 8:00am-5:00pm

Essential Functions:
  • Perform a wide variety of material processing tasks within an assigned area
  • Utilize computer to query various screens to retrieve pertinent information, adjust inventories and record transactions
  • Perform directives supporting site operations in meeting time-sensitive deadlines and solve daily challenges with minimal oversight.
  • Work function and material type may vary per assigned area or location
  • Follow established methods, procedures and practices to receive, store, issue and transport a variety of materials such as rough stores, finished parts, consumable inventory, tooling and gages
  • Ensure all hard copy documentation of transactions is correct, complete and entered electronically into system as required
  • Perform physical inventory counts and item number verification to ensure proper identifications of inventory, record findings and make adjustments to database
  • Make sure that all related documentation is accurate and complete, and that material is entered into the electronic system
  • May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals¿ skills

Required Qualifications
  • HS Diploma
  • 2 year experience in inventory/stocking/tracking/cycle counts
  • Candidates must be able to work independently or in a team
  • Strong organizational and planning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively
  • Good prioritization and project management skills
  • A strong attention to detail is necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Dedicated professional that helps develop the department and organization.
  • Ability to meet commitments and resolve conflicting priorities.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
