Job Title - Inventory Manager 1+ year contract with full benefits (medical, dental, PTO and holiday pay) Location - On-Site, Salt Lake City, UT Job Purpose We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations for a power generation project near Salt Lake City, Utah. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in inventory management and power generation projects. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient flow of materials and equipment, maintain accurate inventory records, and contribute to the project's success through effective organizational skills and leadership. Majority of time spent Day to day administrative duties. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management:

  • Oversee and manage the inventory system to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Manage receiving, storage, and distribution processes for project-related materials and equipment.
Power Generation Project Support:
  • Coordinate with procurement, project managers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Track and report on equipment and material utilization for engines and Balance of Plant (BOP) components.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures tailored to power generation projects.
Operational Efficiency:
  • Optimize storage space and ensure proper handling and safety of materials.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with project and company standards.
  • Generate and maintain reports on inventory status, forecasts, and discrepancies.
Team Collaboration:
  • Liaise with on-site and off-site teams, including suppliers, subcontractors, and the general contractor.
  • Provide support and guidance to construction and engineering personnel to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management within power generation projects or a similar field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with materials and equipment related to power generation, including engines and BOP systems, is a strong advantage.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work on-site 5 days a week and manage inventory in a construction site environment.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience using inventory management software or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards.
Work Environment: This position is located on-site near Salt Lake City, Utah. Applicants must be local and available for a full-time, on-site role.
