Kelly Government Solutions is currently seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst.  This role supports projects and the daily operations of the IT Asset Management Program and is responsible for ensuring the effective management of the organization's IT assets, including software and hardware, throughout their lifecycle. The Analyst will contribute to maintaining compliance, optimizing costs, and supporting efficient IT operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Software Asset Management

  • Obtain and conduct initial reviews of End User License Agreements (EULAs).
  • Create and maintain software product, model, and entitlement records.
  • Assist with internal compliance audits and mitigation efforts
Vender Management:
  • Determine the appropriate vendors for acquiring specific products or services.
  • Request quotes from vendors.
  • Obtain W-8BEN forms from foreign vendors as required by company policy.
Queue Management
  • Monitor the IT Asset Management queue and provide timely updates to requesters, as appropriate.
  • Identify and fulfill "Tier 1" requests and tasks.
Other Duties:
  • Perform other project tasks and duties as assigned by the IT Asset Management Manager.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of IT asset management processes and procedures.
  • Assist in the tracking and reporting of IT asset inventory.
  • Support the implementation of IT asset management tools.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure asset data accuracy and consistency.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 2+ years of experience in Software Asset Management.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with software licensing models for major software publishers (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe).
  • General knowledge of Hardware Asset Management, including computer OEMs, specifications, and operating systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Customer service experience and a commitment to providing excellent support.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Initiative to anticipate issues and provide insights into solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel with daily tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency and accuracy in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Intermediate experience with the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and SAM/ITAM functionality.
  • General technical knowledge and experience.
