Kelly P&I is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Janitor for our Bausch + Lomb location in Tampa, FL. This position offers the opportunity to work with one of our esteemed Global Medical Device Clients on a long-term engagement. Pay Rate: $19.25
Short term contract
Hours: Friday-Monday 5am-3:30pm
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
- Cleans and disinfects nonsterile and aseptic manufacturing areas.
- Prepares batches of disinfecting agents for use.
- Cleans manufacturing equipment after use in production.
- Documents information correctly and timely in batch records forms and area logbooks per cGMP documentation practices.
- Stocks supplies used in the manufacturing area as needed
- Assists Compounders with materials and batch preparation activities.
- Meets and maintains all required training during the year (SOP, EHS, and HR).
- Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.
- Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area.
- Attend and participate in OpEx improvement initiatives such as reducing costs and OEE improvements.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Able to work quickly and under pressure.
- Good documentation, computer, and math skills.
- Must be detail oriented and quality conscious.
- Good team oriented and excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to work different shifts/weekends as needed to maintain the production schedule.
- Ability to work with multiple departments/ management.
- Must be able to wear and use company issued personal protective equipment.
- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial or professional setting is preferred.
