Janitor / Custodian – General Labor
Location: Pooler, GA
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day Shift

We're hiring a reliable and hardworking Janitor/Custodian to join our team at a busy warehouse facility in Pooler, GA. This role is essential in keeping the workspace clean, safe, and well-organized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general cleaning throughout the warehouse

  • Clean restrooms: mop floors, replace paper towels, empty trash

  • Maintain break rooms: sweep, mop, and take out trash

  • Empty and maintain warehouse and outdoor trash receptacles

  • Clean office spaces: dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of janitorial/custodial experience preferred

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Flexible with shift changes and occasional weekend work

  • Willingness to train on high-reach lift trucks for overhead cleaning

  • Ability to operate a floor scrubber and use cleaning chemicals safely

  • Willing to learn pressure washer use

  • Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English

  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Committed to following all safety procedures

  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and perform bending, kneeling, and squatting

  • Comfortable working in warm, dusty conditions

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Education & Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus
