Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dedicated JIRA Administrator to join their Project Management Office team. This strategic role is essential for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and operational pathways. This position will play a crucial role in streamlining JIRA-related tasks, supporting seamless integration, agent/queue reporting, and driving data-driven decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
JIRA Configuration and Management: Collaborate with Central Ops to perform necessary JIRA configurations, ensuring full utilization of all available JIRA functions and capabilities.
Service Desk Optimization: Expedite service desk changes and serve as a strategic partner to enhance system capabilities.
Feature Integration: Actively identify and integrate new JIRA features and automations to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency.
Data Reporting: Manage JIRA tasks, data reporting, and uploads, acting as the primary JIRA architect for the "Unified Central Support Service Desk." Build and maintain reporting metrics focused on maintaining service levels at both the agent and queue level.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Integrate with Central Ops and Atlassian teams, focusing on Priority 0 initiatives like Universal Escalation Pathways and Rich Data reporting.
Systems Maintenance: Conduct ongoing maintenance of existing queues and requests, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Request Consolidation: Identify opportunities to improve existing requests or merge requests to simplify the operator experience.
Required Skills:
JIRA Administration Experience: Proficiency in workflow management and advanced automations.
Data Management: Ability to manage data effectively, with some to moderate experience in SQL (table construction, updating, querying).
Technical Expertise: Experience with AppsScript is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in roles such as JIRA Administrator, Technical Project Manager, Atlassian Administrator, JIRA Configuration Specialist, or JIRA Integration Specialist is highly desirable. Example Work
Automation Building: Develop and update requests to include approval workflows based on specific criteria.
Systems Maintenance: Perform ongoing maintenance of existing queues and requests to ensure seamless operations.
Consolidation of Requests: Identify and implement improvements to existing requests or merge requests to enhance the operator experience.
A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $55 – $62/hr. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
