Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Job Cost and Inventory Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing job costs, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with production and sales teams to ensure accurate job pricing and inventory control. This position will report directly to the Company Controller.

Responsibilities

• Monitor actual job costs against estimates, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee inventory management processes, including tracking, ordering, and reconciling materials.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
• Provide financial and operational reports to management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
• Work closely with production staff to understand material needs and usage patterns.
• Assist with pricing strategies to ensure accurate and competitive job pricing.
• Support process improvements to streamline job costing and inventory management.
• Maintain compliance with internal control procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in job costing, inventory management, or related financial/operational roles.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and job costing/inventory management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
