L3 Platform Technician
Hillsboro, Oregon
Shift: Saturday through Wednesday
Days: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay starts at $26/hr +/- DOE
Full Benefits + Paid Time Off

Job Overview and Qualifications:

  • Responsible for providing time critical technical support for client's latest platform technology delivered from the pre-production software development platform (SDP) to the SSG's customers.
  • Platform support, upgrades and reclaims.
  • Ownership of product maintenance, debug system issues and maintain spare parts inventory to support the SDP install base and perform field upgrades.
  • Physical Lab Support.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows OS' including installation, navigation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with networks to include setting up switches, cabling, using KVM's and PDUs.
  • Build systems and configure hardware and platforms from a BOM.
  • Install updates to firmware or system drivers.
  • Extensive knowledge of PC and Server hardware as individuals will be upgrading systems and installing customer's add-in hardware as needed.
  • Support OEM/RVP/SDS/FFRD/SDP platform setup/deployment.
  • Maintain multiple platforms segments (e.g. Server, desktop, mobile or tablet).
  • Assist delivering platforms to developers for debug, with proper FW/BIOS/OS pre-configured.
  • Support platform upgrades /repairs/replacements/reworks.
  • Support, diagnose, and troubleshoot all components of (FW, BIOS, HW, and SW).
  • Support Self-hosting by providing local setup for developer & staff members.
  • Monitoring the health, performance and availability of cloud resources and services and performing routine maintenance tasks.
