Lab Support Technicians – Lenexa, KS

We currently have direct hire Lab Support positions in Lenexa, Kansas. These are full-time positions where you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K; as well as paid time off-- including holiday, vacation, and sick/personal time.
Lab Support ensures operations run smoothly for vaccine production by planning, ordering, and maintaining stocks and supplies.
Details:
- Direct Hire with Benefits
- $21/hr to start, additional $2/hr shift differential for weekend hours ($23/hr).
- Tuesday – Friday 9am – 7:30pm
- Career Progression at 6, 12, 18 months with pay increases
Responsibilities:
- Follow manufacturing processes per USDA, OSHA, Safety, and company policies.
- Manage inventory: ensure FIFO, order materials, cycle counts, dispose expired items.
- Confirm QA release of raw materials before production.
- Thaw materials per protocols, document records.
- Maintain inventory for lab equipment, gowning supplies, ampoules; perform daily checks.
- Record daily room temperatures; monitor storage tanks' temperatures and levels.
- Prepare labels and ampoules; inspect final products.
- Clean, autoclave lab dishware; keep separated by lab.
- Follow cleaning protocols, update labels and dispose of chemicals properly.
- Maintain organized workstations, handle waste per protocols.
- Work closely with other technicians and assist others as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education in a related field, preferred but not required.
- Manufacturing, lab, or clean room experience strongly preferred.
- Able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English.
- Squatting, bending, twisting, and fine motor skills all required.
