Lab Support Technicians – Lenexa, KS

These are full-time positions where you will be eligible for Medical, Dental, 401K; as well as paid time off-- including holiday, vacation, and sick/personal time. 


Lab Support ensures operations run smoothly for vaccine production by planning, ordering, and maintaining stocks and supplies.
 
Details:
 

• Direct Hire with Benefits
• $21/hr to start, additional $2/hr shift differential for weekend hours ($23/hr).
• Tuesday – Friday 9am – 7:30pm
• Career Progression at 6, 12, 18 months with pay increases

Responsibilities:
 

• Follow manufacturing processes per USDA, OSHA, Safety, and company policies.
• Manage inventory: ensure FIFO, order materials, cycle counts, dispose expired items.
• Confirm QA release of raw materials before production.
• Thaw materials per protocols, document records.
• Maintain inventory for lab equipment, gowning supplies, ampoules; perform daily checks.
• Record daily room temperatures; monitor storage tanks' temperatures and levels.
• Prepare labels and ampoules; inspect final products.
• Clean, autoclave lab dishware; keep separated by lab.
• Follow cleaning protocols, update labels and dispose of chemicals properly.
• Maintain organized workstations, handle waste per protocols.
• Work closely with other technicians and assist others as needed.

 
Qualifications:  
 

• Education in a related field, preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing, lab, or clean room experience strongly preferred.
• Able to read, write legibly, and communicate in English.
• Squatting, bending, twisting, and fine motor skills all required.
