Kelly is currently seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician in the St. Joseph, MO area!
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine tests & analyses following all ILVT guidelines.
- Receive, collect, and process samples.
- Report & log testing results using SAP.
- Maintain equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area.
- Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, associate or bachelor's degree in a scientific field preferred.
- General laboratory experience preferred.
- Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP preferred.
- Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement.
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management skills
- Ability to read and perform technical testing methods.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work such as moving and lifting 50lbs, standing for long periods of time, etc.
