Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our production line runs smoothly and efficiently. Located in a fast-paced environment, this position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about safety and quality. As an assistant line operator, you will report to the Production Supervisor and be responsible for training new team members, conducting quality checks, and performing essential operations that keep our production line thriving.
Pay Rate/Compensation:
1st shift: $15.50/hr. (7am-3pm)
2nd shift: $16.00/hr. (3pm-11pm)
3rd shift: $17.00/hr. (11pm-7am)
Mandatory overtime when needed
Role and Responsibilities:
- Start and operate the equipment safely and efficiently while reporting to the Production Supervisor.
- Train new team members in safety rules and operational procedures.
- Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure that production standards are consistently met.
- Perform all basic operations needed with equipment and manual processes to keep the line running smoothly.
- Participate in changeovers of the line and perform basic troubleshooting during production.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Possess 1-3 years in a production or manufacturing setting with relevant experience
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Ability to train and mentor new team members effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
