Position Title: Logistics Specialist
Shift: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $27 - $30 Hourly (Depending on Experience)
Location: Allentown, PA 18109

Kelly Services is excited to partner with Johnson & Johnson in the search for a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join their Commercial Operations and Strategic Enablement team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of inventory and order processing, contributing to the overall success of J&J's operations across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have strong logistics and inventory management experience and will work closely with internal teams to streamline processes and optimize customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing & Fulfillment: Efficiently process and fulfill customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while supporting inventory replenishment efforts to maintain stock levels.
- Inventory Control & Management: Conduct regular cycle counts, monitor inventory levels, and manage stock labeling to facilitate easy retrieval. Ensure inventory accuracy through reconciliation and proper documentation.
- Collaboration with Sales Teams: Partner with local sales teams to resolve order discrepancies, address customer inquiries, and facilitate order resolution to maintain high levels of customer service.
- Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination: Manage inbound materials, oversee shipping and receiving operations, and collaborate with freight forwarders, receiving departments, and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Regulatory Compliance & Documentation: Maintain compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP), assist with regulatory audits, and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Problem Resolution: Work with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve pricing discrepancies, ensure timely invoicing, and support the resolution of logistical issues.
- Safety & Training Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and complete required training to support a safe and compliant work environment.
- Adaptability: Remain flexible in responding to changing business needs and take on additional tasks as required to support operational goals.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or related fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, JDE, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or similar regulatory standards is a plus.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
