Production Operator - Winchester, KY

Essential Functions:
  • Maintain strong attendance and adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Manage the process flow for machining and assembly based on specific procedures while accurately completing daily production tracking reports.
  • Conduct quality inspections by measuring part dimensions and performing necessary checks to ensure 100% quality output.
  • Identify abnormal situations and follow proper operating procedures to maintain production quality.
  • Initiate Trouble Reports and participate in investigations, suggesting countermeasures as needed.
  • Approve outgoing inspected parts by labeling boxes with individual packing numbers.
  • Understand and utilize production-related documentation (e.g., PCC, Operation Sheets, SOS, FMEA, Key Point, Kanban, Flow Cards).
  • Check fluid levels in machines and participate in scheduled Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
  • Attend and successfully complete all required operator training for each rank.
  • Strive to meet departmental and company goals, support team members, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in the Kaizen program and train others as requested.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred for Rank A1 & A2; required for Rank A3 & A4.
  • Additional job-related training such as technical courses, certifications, or seminars is preferred.
  • Good math skills and reasoning ability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to train others and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Six months to one year of previous factory/manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge preferred.
  • Must adhere to a strict safety regimen.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to remain standing for up to 10 hours at a time.
  • Capability to maneuver around the plant, including bending, squatting, and reaching overhead.
  • Good hand strength and dexterity, with the ability to grasp and manipulate objects.
  • Good eyesight, hearing, and speaking voice; ability to lift between 10-40 lbs frequently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
Shifts: 
1st 5am-3:30pm $15/hr
2nd 5pm - 3:30am $15.75/hr
