Machine Operator – B & C Shift

Location: Rochester, NY
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $18.00 – $21.00/hour
Shift:

• B Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Monday – Friday)
• C Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Sunday – Thursday)

We are currently seeking Advanced Machine Operators to support a high-precision manufacturing environment in Rochester, NY. These roles are ideal for individuals with strong machine operation experience in optics, medical, aerospace, or related fields. You'll play a critical part in producing high-quality components using advanced machinery in a clean, safety-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate complex production machinery with a focus on precision and quality
• Monitor machines during operation and make adjustments as needed
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain accurate production records and follow documentation procedures
• Assist with routine machine maintenance and notify technicians of larger issues
• Follow all safety, cleanroom, and manufacturing protocols
• Support team goals and maintain consistent output

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience operating high-precision or industrial machinery a plus
• Familiarity with production documentation, inspection tools, and quality standards
• Comfortable working in a regulated or cleanroom-type environment
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• High school diploma or equivalent
