Pay: $24.00
Shift 3rd shift 10pm to 6am

What's a typical day as Machine Operator?
  • Setting up and operating CNC and EDM machines to perform machining operations, including fast hole drilling and graphite shaping on metal castings, forgings, and bar stock.
  • Reviewing mechanical drawings and set-up instructions to determine machining requirements, dimensional specifications, and work methods.
  • Installing work holding devices, managing tooling and electrodes, and ensuring correct process sequences.
  • Monitoring numerical control displays, verifying data and dimensions against process sheets, and checking programs at the start of each shift.
  • Inspecting first-run pieces with precision tools, maintaining dimension records, and ensuring conformance to specifications.
  • Deburring parts, troubleshooting production or machine issues, and reporting non-conformities or malfunctions.
  • Maintaining tools and measuring instruments, meeting production and quality standards, and observing company safety rules.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
Possess experience in machine operation, assembly, or equipment maintenance and are comfortable using hand tools and following manufacturing work instructions.
Can lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds with or without accommodation, and are willing to wear personal protective equipment.
Are open to working overtime, including weekend shifts.
(Preferred) Have shop math skills, prior experience with precision measuring tools, and can work with computerized shop floor tools and basic Microsoft Word/Excel.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, self-motivation, and strong communication skills.
