Pay Rate: $20-$32 per hour (Depending on experience)

Typical Day as a Maintenance Electrical Technician:
  • Morning Briefing: Start with a team meeting to review daily goals, any urgent maintenance requests, and safety topics.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and maintenance on machinery, engines, and electrical systems to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions using tools and technical documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work with production teams to minimize downtime by efficiently scheduling maintenance tasks and updates on machinery performance.
  • Documentation: Update maintenance logs, order necessary parts, and report on work performed using the SAP CMMS system.
  • Continuous Learning: Attend workshops or review technical publications to stay current on new technologies and methods.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; relevant experience (5-10 years) in maintenance, preferably with an AS or AAS in Electrical/Electronic Technology.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, familiarity with diagnostic tools, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
