Kelly Services is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic – 3rd Shift for one of our top clients in Phoenix, AZ.

JOB TITLE:  Maintenance Mechanic – 3rd Shift
LOCATION:  Phoenix, AZ
DURATION:   12 Months (Temporary / Contract)
PAY RATE:  $30 per hour W2

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The job is 9:00 PM though 5:30 AM night shift. (Training will be on 1st shift hours for 4 weeks)

Sun 9:00 PM -5:30 AM Mon half hour lunch
Mon 9:00 PM -5:30 AM Tuesday half hour lunch
Tuesday 9:00 PM -5:30 AM Wednesday half hour lunch
Wednesday 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM Thursday half hour lunch
Thursday 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM Friday half hour lunch

Total= 40-hour work week

Description:
Support the preventative maintenance programme by carrying out effective maintenance routines and repairs to prolong the useful life and optimize the efficiency of production equipment.

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
• Conduct routine planned maintenance as detailed by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and directed
• Support production activities at all times by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns and achievement of equipment availability targets.
• Promote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in line with lean thinking and Maintenance best practice.
• Maintain safety and regulatory equipment at all times and report any defects.
• Maintain a log of activities carried out on equipment i.e. hours works, spare parts used etc using the site CMMS
• Ensure that maintenance cover for production areas is provided at all times by demonstrating flexibility regarding working overtime to provide cover for holidays, sick leave, shutdown periods, busy periods and as required.
• Provide support to the Utilities function to ensure that production critical utility supply is maintained at all times.
• Ensure compliance to all aspects of the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental procedures are maintained.
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the Good Manufacturing Practices requirements maintained by the company.
• All employees are responsible for minimizing both the Environmental and Health & Safety effects of the work that they perform.
• Work closely and interact with the other groups within the Engineering and Operations departments.
• Comply with EHS Regulations and Policies

Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with QA Facilities (including Clean Room if applicable), Preventative Maintenance, Calibration, Good Documentation Practices, Material Segregation and Control requirements as associated with this job type/position.
2. Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
3. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
4. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Required Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or local equivalent
2. Minimum 3 years' experience in machine maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong electrical and electronic repair and diagnostic skills.
4. General skills and expertise related to maintenance and facilities activities.
5. Demonstrate levels of theoretical knowledge with practical application.
6. Relevant working knowledge of a regulated industry and GMP.
7. Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in pneumatic and hydraulic fault finding and repair
2. Completed Engineering Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumental Engineering.
