Maintenance Mechanic – El Monte, CA
Pay: $28–$35/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
• Monday – Friday | 6:00am – 2:30pm
• Overtime as needed based on production demands

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our production equipment running safely and efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.
This is a hands-on role supporting both industrial equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems
- Complete full equipment tear-downs and rebuilds as needed
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues (110V–480V systems)
- Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical documentation
- Fabricate or modify parts for repairs and equipment upgrades
- Support general facility and building maintenance
- Communicate directly with production leadership to prevent downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE and reporting procedures
- Participate in 6S and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and power transmission systems
- Basic electrical skills required (experience up to 480V is a plus)
- Basic welding and plumbing experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Ability to lift and work with heavy equipment
- Strong communication skills and dependable attendance
