About the Role
As a CNC Mechatronics Maintenance Technician, you'll be entrusted with diagnosing, repairing, and calibrating a wide variety of machines and equipment, utilizing both mechanical and electrical expertise. You'll work hands-on with cutting-edge technology, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues on a broad range of machines and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
  • Use tools such as voltage meters, ohm meters, phase rotation testers, micrometers, torque wrenches, gauge blocks, precision squares, oscilloscopes, and laser alignment equipment for diagnostics and repairs.
  • Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Fit bearings and spindles with precision, align machine components, and machine complex replacement parts as needed.
  • Execute electrical installations and maintenance on diverse plant systems and apparatus, including laying out and installing wiring circuits and distribution centers according to codes.
  • Diagnose and repair advanced electronic controls, drawing on knowledge of relay logic, digital logic, and ladder diagrams.
  • Collaborate with external vendors or service technicians to resolve specialized issues.
  • Perform millwright duties by installing, wiring, or removing equipment.
  • Support and mentor other maintenance team members in solving challenging problems.
  • Operate forklifts as required for maintenance tasks.
  • Be available for emergency repairs during non-standard hours when needed.
  • Follow safety best practices, including lockout/tagout procedures, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adapt to additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • Thorough expertise in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including setup and operation of machine tools and knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic and electronic controls.
  • Completion of a full apprenticeship or equivalent technical training, plus 4–5 years of broad maintenance experience.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering notes, and shop routings.
  • Solid foundation in math and trigonometry.
  • Proven mechanical and electrical repair skills.
  • Certifications in OSHA safety programs and practices are a plus.
