This is a direct hire Maintenance Technician position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Details:
• Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm, Friday 6:00am-10:00am, with overtime as needed
• $25.00-30.00/hr. based on skills and experience
• Grand Rapids, MI
Position Information:
• Conduct scheduled maintenance on Haas Mills and Samsung Lathes
• Maintain and troubleshoot spindle, gearbox, and lubrication systems
• Refill, recharge and flush coolant systems
• Ensure alignment, calibration, and adjustment of mechanical parts
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and implement solutions promptly
• Run and install air and plumbing lines to equipment/facility
• General upkeep and maintenance of facility infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational requirements
Required Experience:
• Previous experience in a maintenance role required
• Experience with operation & repair of CNC machinery including Haas and Samsung strongly preferred
• Maintenance experience within a machine shop a plus
• Ability to perform manual/mechanical maintenance tasks
• General facility maintenance experience
• Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
