Maintenance Technician – Georgetown, KY
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's industrial maintenance team in Georgetown, KY. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.
- Shift: 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule (NO ROTATING)
- Days: 7:00am – 7:20pm
- Nights: 7:00pm – 7:20am
- Pay Range: $22.00 – $28.00/hr (based on skill and shift)
- Hiring Bonus: Up to $4,300 (paid out over 1 year)
Responsibilities: As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping our production machinery, support equipment, and facility systems running at peak performance. You'll troubleshoot and repair both electrical and mechanical issues, while supporting plant safety, quality, and productivity.
- Install, test, repair, and maintain plant production machinery and support systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical equipment (motors, wiring, circuits, servo drives, relay logic, etc.).
- Fabricate and machine parts (metal, plastic, wood) for equipment repairs, projects, and modifications.
- Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, CNC machines, robotics, and electronic systems.
- Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints to complete maintenance tasks.
- Document work performed through written and electronic methods.
- Train and support team members on equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.
What You'll Bring
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Hands-on technical skills in: PLCs (Allen Bradley), robotics (Kawasaki), computers/IT, hydraulics/pneumatics, motion/motor control, welding, and machining.
- Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to work any shift, plus overtime, holidays, weekends, and plant shutdowns.
