Job Title: Maintenance Worker
Location: Vidor, TX
Pay Rate: $21/hr
Work Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday (with some Saturdays required) Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for removing and cleaning old rubber lining from the interior surfaces of rail cars and performing a variety of general labor duties. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a focus on safety. Key Responsibilities

• Remove and clean old rubber lining from rail car interiors using handheld tools (scrapers, wrenches, grinders, etc.)
• Accurately read tape measures and operate basic hand tools safely
• Lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all company safety protocols
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete tasks efficiently
• Perform general cleanup and other labor duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds consistently
• Experience using hand tools and tape measures
• Willingness to work 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM CST, with some Saturdays required
• Possession of a valid Basic ISTC card and Confined Space cert. or the ability to obtain before the start date
• Excellent work ethic, punctuality, and eagerness to learn
• Ability to thrive in a physically demanding, industrial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manual labor or industrial cleaning experience
• Familiarity with rubber lining work or rail car interiors (not required, but a plus)
