Job Title: Maintenance Worker (Sanitation)
Location: Hicksville, KS
Position Type: 3 months contract
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 11pm–7:30am; Saturdays, 7am–5pm (hours may vary based on business needs; weekends may be required)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking Maintenance Worker for our sanitation team in an industrial food production facility. This role is focused on thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing large food service equipment and plumbing systems used in pudding production. If you are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in physically demanding conditions, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:

• Dismantle, clean, and reassemble equipment (such as kettles) using elbow grease, chemicals, power washers, and PPE
• Follow Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP)
• Work with Quality Assurance to ensure meticulous cleanliness
• Respond to emergencies as needed
• Assist and train other team members as applicable
• Complete master sanitation paperwork daily
• Understand proper chemical handling, safety procedures, and use of protective gear

 
Requirements:

• Able to stand and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout shift
• Comfortable working in hot/cold and noisy environments
• Must wear steel-toed shoes (required)
• Fluent and able to read/write in English or Spanish
• Background check and drug test required prior to starting
