Manufacturing Operator
We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Manufacturing Operator I to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating production equipment in order to assist with manufacturing, production, and packaging on a production line. This role involves monitoring equipment for quality, defects, stalls, or jams and starting and stopping the production run.
Pay Rate: $26/hr
Shift: 1st shift
Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment efficiently to support manufacturing, production, and packaging processes.
- Inspect rubber slabs for quality before placing them into bags.
- Monitor production equipment and promptly address any defects, stalls, or jams.
- Receive line run or product run instructions from a Team Lead, Supervisor, or Engineer.
- Work in a standing or sitting position for up to 12 hours per shift.
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work habits.
- Adhere to ISO 9000 standards and practices, as our facility is ISO9000 certified.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Basic level understanding of ISO 9000 standards with at least 1 year of experience.
- Proficient in basic math, computer, and problem-solving skills.
- 1-3 years of experience in production operation.
- Ability to work well with others and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing necessary PPE equipment such as respirators.
- Must be able to pass a physical examination as well as a drug test.
- No beards allowed due to safety PPE requirements.
- Ability to work a 2-hour rotating shift and a schedule of 14 days per month.
