Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $35 - $40/hr

What's a typical day as a Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager? You'll be:
• Managing, developing, and leading the daily activities of multiple production teams.
• Responsible for the daily activities of multiple production teams including managing team members, housekeeping, and meeting production targets.
• Working cross-functionally to improve safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
• Providing guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; setting expectations and clarifying responsibilities.
• Coaching and mentoring team members.
• Identifying training needs; developing and implementing training plans.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a significant level of supervisory experience.
• Possess strong team-based work systems skills, including the ability to balance customer, individual, and business needs.
• Have knowledge of labor and employee relations, including employee advocacy, impact on unionization, and implementing programs and tools to influence organizational culture.
• Foster open communication and encourage the expression of ideas and opinions.
• Have experience in managing execution, assigning responsibilities, delegating and empowering others, and monitoring progress.
• Are skilled in motivating others, establishing challenging performance standards, and creating a positive and productive work environment.
• Can perform thorough incident investigations, including root cause analysis and development of effective corrective actions.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
• College, university, or equivalent degree, or high school diploma or equivalent education and significant experience required.

Experience:
• Significant level of supervisory experience required.
