Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Materials Handler to join our team in Brewster, NY. As a Materials Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our organization. You will be responsible for supplying packing areas with the necessary products, operating a forklift truck safely, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This isfor the morning shift (1st shift) from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Materials Handler, your main responsibilities will include:
- Supplying all packing areas with the proper product to complete customer orders
- Moving completed product and orders to the next assigned task
- Safely operating a forklift truck to handle materials delicately
- Ensuring proper materials are unloaded and loaded on the packing tables
- Pulling product from inventory according to customer orders and Bills of Materials as needed
- Assisting in packaging/shrink wrapping for shipment and put away
- Exemplifying 5S principles to maintain an organized and efficient workspace
- Abiding by all safety and housekeeping rules and regulations
- Maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and other associates
- Following written and verbal instructions
- Performing any other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent with additional related coursework preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills required
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting when necessary
- Ability to relate and interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently with little or no direction from others
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a high energy level and ability to multitask
- Reliable and flexible with hours worked, including weekends and overtime as needed
- Ability to read and write English and understand and comprehend safety and quality instructions
