What's a typical day as a Material Handler, I/Manufacturing Support You'll be:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Will prepare and maintain records of items shipped and will be required to comply with documentation and record keeping procedures.

  • May prepare goods for final shipment and/or production assembly.
  • May examine, stock and/or distribute goods in inventory and/or in other areas.
  • May enter information into the inventory management system.
  • May follow documented assembly/ packaging instructions.

    Physical & Mental requirements:
     
  • Exerting up to 50-100 pounds of work occasionally and/or up to 20-50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • The ability to work with and/or sort small component parts.
  • Must have good visual acuity and demonstrate fine motor skills/ability.
  • Must be able to follow detailed verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Must be able to complete detailed documentation accurately and correct/note minute inconsistencies.

    Qualifications & Experience:
     
  • High School degree or equivalent education is acceptable.
  • Basic reading, writing, math and measuring skills.
  • Ability to operate PC and computer related programs.
  • Effective interpersonal communications skills.
