Duration: Will last until the end of July – WEEKLY PAY!
Hours and Pay Rate:
6am-2:30pm OR 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday and OT as needed during the week to include Saturdays
$19.75 per hour
What's a typical day as Material Handler? You'll be:
- Loading and unloading freight from trucks efficiently and safely – Will be operating Cherry Picker/Hi-Lo up to 30 ft high
- Breaking down and separating incoming shipments
- Moving products to storage areas with proper equipment, stacking and storing merchandise appropriately
- Charging forklift batteries as needed
- Picking and assembling orders for shipment to include labeling and wrapping
- Counting and verifying freight for accuracy, damage, or infestation
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Cleaning trailers and truck bays as requested
- Verifying receiving receipts from Accounts Payable
- High School Diploma or GED
- Are equipped with skills in handling electric and hand jacks, forklifts, RF units, and reach machines
- Are able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Have strong vision acuity and depth perception
- Have steel toe shoes as required
