Pay rate: $17.00 to $19.00 an hour/ DOE
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30am to 4:15pm
Term: Temp to hire
What's a typical day as a Material Handler? You'll be:
- Cut vinyl and foam materials to custom specifications based on customer orders.
- Accurately read and interpret measurements using a ruler.
- Identify and differentiate various colors of vinyl and foam using sample swatches.
- Wrap and prepare pallets for shipment (preferred but not required initially).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Return rolls of material to their designated storage locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely (training provided).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to accurately read a ruler and perform basic math calculations.

Ability to differentiate colors accurately.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) regularly.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to work in a hot warehouse environment, particularly during the Florida summer months.

Reliable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment.

Experience with pallet wrapping and shipping procedures.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to work in a hot warehouse environment.

Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
