Material Handler
Location: Monroe, NC
Schedule: 1st and 2nd
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $17.60 per hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm (based on attendance & performance)
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Monroe, NC. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in pick and pack operations, sit-down electric forklift operation, and using RF scanners. This role is key to ensuring efficiency and accuracy in our inventory and shipping processes, with long-term career potential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities-
Perform pick and pack operations based on customer and order requirements

Operate sit-down electric forklifts and cherry pickers to manage inventory in high-reach areas

Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments with accuracy

Verify product details, inspect for damage, and confirm order accuracy

Label, scan, and organize inventory using RF scanning systems

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment

Assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory audits

Follow all safety guidelines and proper use of PPE and equipment

Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to meet daily goals

3–5 years of warehouse experience including pick and pack duties

Proven experience with sit-down electric forklifts (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)

Comfortable working on cherry pickers and in high-reach areas

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

High school diploma or GED required (proof must be provided)

Updated resume clearly showing relevant experience is required

Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Experience with RF scanning equipment

Current forklift certification or experience with other Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
