Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing and packaging parts for shipment, pulling raw material, and performing a variety of material handling tasks. The ideal candidate will operate material handling equipment and packaging machines safely, support inventory control efforts, and work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials within the warehouse or production area.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Prepare and package parts for shipment according to company standards.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, keeping accurate records of material locations.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork required for material handling and inventory management.
  • Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; certification may be required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management systems are advantageous.
