Job Title: Material Handler Pay rate: $21/HR


Join our warehouse team as a Material Handler working in a busy, hands-on environment. You'll be part of a crew that processes batteries for recycling and distribution, handling everything from shipping & receiving to helping out in the retail space as needed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and move batteries (5–100 lbs); team lift for items over 50 lbs
  • Build and shrink-wrap pallets of batteries (new, used, recycled) for processing and shipping
  • Use warehouse equipment and carts to transport batteries
  • Pull batteries from retail space as required
  • Process shipments in and out of the warehouse
  • Assist with inventory control; scanner training provided
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide basic customer service in retail area
Requirements:
  • Warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
  • Inventory experience required (will train on scanner systems)
  • Customer service and retail experience a plus
  • Sit-down forklift experience (FKL) a plus
  • Able to work in a dusty, sometimes loud environment
  • Physically able to move items weighing up to 100 lbs (with assistance as needed)
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
Schedule & Pay:
  • Monday – Friday
  • Temp-to-hire opportunity
  • $21/hour
  • Overtime as needed
Dress Code & Safety:
  • Casual attire: plain shirts (black or grey), shorts or jeans
  • Composite or steel-toed boots required (client provides PPE)
