What a typical day as a Material Handler I might look like:
Move and place parts and materials for processing and storage.
Remove and weigh chips as needed.
Load and unload trucks efficiently.
Set up parts in designated areas for processing.
Ensure correct parts are placed in the designated order.
Assist machine operators with general duties to ensure smooth operations.
Report any observed problems to the supervisor, including storage and machine malfunctions.
Produce daily production reports as directed by the supervisor.
Maintain an organized and safe workstation, adhering to all company policies and safety procedures.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Six months of related experience and/or training preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift experience and certification are required.
Ability to operate a forklift and man lift according to approved OSHA standards.
Must complete a physical assessment as required by the supplier.
