Job Summary:
Join our team as a Material Handler II and play a vital role in supporting our clinical laboratory operations and research labs. Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Seattle, WA and Seattle, WA
- Pay Rate: $23-$25/hr DOE
- Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 6:30 AM - 3 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements (ISO 13485 and FDA 21CFR Part 820).
- Provide guidance and support to entry-level staff.
- Perform Dangerous Goods (DG) / HazMat shipments when qualified.
- Conduct structured problem-solving to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Accurately receive and put away inbound materials.
- Pick and prepare orders for outbound shipment.
- Stock laboratories and warehouse areas efficiently.
- Cycle count materials and investigate variances.
- Collaborate with staff to reconcile purchase orders and packing slips.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- BS/BA degree preferred; High School Diploma/Associate's degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year of material handling experience in a highly regulated environment (GMP, ISO, etc.).
- Lean or Six Sigma training preferred.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High attention to detail and ability to adhere to SOPs.
- A can-do, customer-oriented attitude.
